root gionee E3 (Vroot Method)

Nov 24 2014 at 12:18am

I posted a tutorial earlier on how to root gionee E3 after Kitkat Update, though this method managed to install Super SU and can grant root Access to apps it does not properly root your phone so I have decided to Share a New Method that Gets the Job done easily and gives you full root.
If rooted with first method Unroot by going to settings on Super SU click Full Unroot then reboot your device.

HOW TO ROOT
- First download this version of Vroot and install it to your computer.
- Without connecting your phone to the computer but make sure you have an active internet connection on the PC, launch Vroot and wait for Vroot to update over the air.
- Once Update is downloaded accept all installation request to install the update. After installation still wait for Vroot to display a message that supported device list updated.
Now you can connect your gionee e3 to the computer with USB debugging enable and once vroot detects your phone click on the root button and wait for phone to be rooted. phone will reboot onces and you should get a screen like this

If you follow this guide you can be sure of successful Root! credits to Wealth (a Nigerian android pro)

Hi,

I have rooted using the new method, But can you please advice me how to change the language to English please? When I run the app, I can only see Chinese text. I have presumed few buttons and it works fine, but would be nice if I could change the language
