According to express sport Real Madrid are interested in a shock move for their former winger Angel Di Maria.

Real Madrid have held talks with the Di Maria, and according to reports if he should decide to leave PSG then his next destination would be to the Spanish capital.

Di Maria joined Real Madrid from Benfica in 2010, he went on to win the Copa del rey, UEFA Super Cup and the Champions League with the club, he scored 31 goals in 169 appearances for the club. he was sold to Manchester United for £59.7 million in 2014.

Di Maria's stay with Manchester United was short, playing just 27 games in the EPL scoring 3 goals. he was sold to PSG a year later.

The 29 year old has won the Ligue 1 title and the Coupe de La LIGUE with Paris St Germain, in his first season he set a Ligue 1 record for number of assists in a season with 18.

With his performance this season against Barcelona in the Champions League first leg even Barcelona were Linked with a move for the Argentine.

According to reports, the Argentine is unhappy in France, if he should decide to leave this summer, he would be welcomed back at Real Madrid.
