best phones in 2014 (naija market only) : have your say

Dec 30 2014 at 11:42pm

It's the last day of the year and I taking out time to make this post! I have selected 10 of the best smartphones in the Nigerian market this year. These phones were not picked for high specifications only but for their success in the market and value of money. (the order of this list is random) your reactions will help us order them before midnight.

1. Samsung Galaxy s5: the leader of the Galaxy s series in 2014 with a 16MP camera and great processing power for gaming and work.

2. LG G3: LG's flagship with metallic design and wow specifications

3. Nokia XL: XL is the flagship in Nokia's android experiment the specifications were not too attractive but die hard Nokia fans made it a success.
4. iPhone 5s: stylish and premium debuting apple's finger print scanner on mobile and with a very powerful camera Iphone 5s is the device for people that want to standout in class.
5. Tecno Phantom Z: a true beast from Chinese phone maker with a very wow specification.
6.One Plus: this phone wasn't really made available in or maybe am not aware of the launch here. But it sold a lot here and it comes with amazing specifications and rocks on antutu benchmark.
7. Gionee p4: decent and affordable device it made the list because it is the cheapest device running on jellybean to get official ota update to Kitkat + you get many custom roms to play with as a geekSC.
8. Infinix Zero: this phone needs no introduction in Nigeria sold like crazy. good specification at the price of only 23999 naira it's hard to resist.
9. Nokia Lumia 520: the most successful Windows phone in Africa continues its shine throughout 2014. It's selling point to me is the fact that 21k isn't too much to experiment in trying to standout. But it is a good buy as the Windows Live store is getting more publishers attention lately... That is you get cool apps even when you are away from android and ios.
10. Blackberry Q5 : fast selling and delivering a good OS10.x experience is the BB Q5. Decent phone with physical keyspad for typing and a good price tag.

That is it, our 10 best phones in 2014. All good phones! which one of these phones do you think deserves No. 1 spot on the list? And which device do you think is missing have your say.

Happy new year in advance.
