android mobile data not powering all apps

Apr 28 2017 at 08:00am

Is your mobile data(Internet) to working properly on some apps? Well here is one way to fix it.

N.B! The context of this post is strictly Nigerian.

Solution
The default access point for most Nigerian mobile service providers come with proxy(ip) and port enabled. Most apps won't connect with the default proxy and port. So you will have to remove proxy and port from your access point.

To do this simple goto the main settings on your device.
Then navigate to cellular networks => Access points.
Then tap on your default access point. Look for the proxy and port field then delete what ever value you find there (make sure both fields are blank).
Now save and exit.

Try connecting to the Internet on the same apps that didn't connect earlier and feel the difference.
